Dining In Dives enjoyed an amazing BBQ lunch at Chileen's in Black Canyon on September 24th. Every month this lively group visits local restaurants...not always dives.

The most recent outing of the Day Trippers XI interest group was a narrated boat tour of Lake Pleasant.  Beautiful day, with some wildlife sightings. NOTE: This fun group needs a new Chair or two Co-chairs immediately so the group can go on. If you are interested, please contact Roseanne Brown. 

The Anthem Oenophiles September tasting included 4 International and 3 Domestic Sparkling wines. As usual the tasting was blind so that we could be surprised by our choices.  Submitted by Bonnie Baker

The Fun & Finer luncheon on August 23rd was hosted by Janet Schuler-Dryer. The luncheon was held at The Capital Grill in Scottsdale. The Capital Grill is a classic refined American Restaurant chain of upscale steakhouses owned by Darden Restaurants.

We had two birthdays and the Capital Grill was very generous and gave each of us a glass of champagne as well as dessert for all.

Our June Fun & Finer luncheon was hosted by Nancy Larson at the Phoenix City Grill an American contemporary dining spot in central Phoenix. 

The Phoenix City Grill is a central Phoenix institution, having opened in 1997 and was built in the style of the old town tavern.  It is a comfortable place for meeting friends where you can count on delicious food at reasonable prices.  They use their best efforts to use products that are grown and produced locally here in Arizona.
