Board Games meets on the third Monday of the month at Persimmon, patio or inside, depending on the weather. Time: 1-3 pm.  We play mostly Scrabble and Rummikub, but can expand according to the wishes of the participants.

Bridge – a popular card game with variable rules, depending on the knowledge of the players. Bridge is an intricate game played by certain rules and close partnership. Presently, there are active groups for everyone’s ability!

Bunco – a social and very simple dice game for groups of twelve. There are several tables of multiple players, rolling of three die per table, with scoring. Prizes are awarded for top scores, most buncos, etc.  It’s simple, easy and fun!

TWC has interest groups that play two similar card games:  Canasta & Hand & Foot.  Both are fun and all skill levels are welcome to join.

This is an intriguing game played with a set of 152 Mah Jongg tiles, three to four players per table. TWC plays American Mah Jongg. This group meets EVERY Thursday from 12:30-3:30 at Persimmon Restaurant.  All levels of players are welcome!  We will teach beginners how to play if they join our group.  Please contact one of the Chairs for more information. 

TWC has several Mexican Train (tile) groups. If these games are new to you, please know that they are simply fun games – no partners – “every man for himself” competition. You will catch on quickly.

Farkle is a dice game played by any number of people with 6 dice each. The goal is to score 10,000 points or more and is very easy to learn. We are an informal group and have lots of fun!

Pinochle is a card game played at a table of 4 players, two sets of partners. The partners play opposite each other at the table. Rules of the game will be provided if you do not know this game or haven’t played it. This is a fun and competitive game enjoyed by men and women.
